<Who is Jin Park?>
Jin Hyun Park is a Ph.D. student in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University, where he works as both a graduate and teaching assistant in the Brain Networks Lab. His research spans computational neuroscience, machine learning, and deep learning. Before joining Texas A&M, he worked at the Commercial Vehicle Business Innovation Team - Hyundai Motor Company and worked as a research assistant in the Multidomal Language and Cognition Lab at Kyungpook National University. After joining Texas A&M, his work has focused on (1) developing biologically inspired convolutional neural networks that mimic human visual perception, (2) the evolution of prediction, and (3) AI-driven smart floor-heating systems. He has also worked as a machine learning engineer at LG Telecom, Samsung Life Insurance, and Tilda Corp.
